Learn fun and easy ways to save energy while touring interactive exhibits. Oncor's Take A Load Off, Texas is a consumer outreach program designed to educate Oncor's residential and commercial consumers about energy efficiency and the measures they can take to conserve. Take A Load Off, Texas travels throughout Oncor's service area with exhibits and information on items such as lighting, solar power, appliances, air-conditioning units and insulation. More. CenterPoint Energy: In honor of Earth Day, CenterPoint is partnering with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant trees in neighborhoods across America. For a limited time, when you enroll in online billing a tree will be planted in Texas on your behalf. More. Entergy Texas: In its ongoing effort to provide quality service to customers and promote the preservation of the environment, Entergy Texas is encouraging customers to “Go PaperFREE” for Earth Day. According to research, if all U.S. households viewed and paid their bills electronically each year, it could save 18.5 million trees. It would also avoid 2.2 billion tons of toxic air pollutants and 1.7 billion pounds of solid waste, and save 15.8 billion gallons of water. More.
